Peace is a Choice



Peace is a something we all seek. Although there is a lot of conflict around the world, in counties & even in our own relationships – peace is a possibility. We affect all the energy around us with our consciousness and our actions.


If we want a reality of peace, we need to have a consciousness of peace. This must be the place we reside in. Even when life is throwing us reasons to react. Take a pause, remember your commitment to peace, and come from that space rather then the immediate momentary need to react. Most of our reactions come from a place of fear, but if we choose love, then peace will be the result.


Real peace is unconditional. It doesn’t care who did what to whom. It doesn’t depend on us being comfortable. It doesn’t rely on feelings and it doesn’t come just when it’s easy to be peaceful like the moment after a yoga class, and then at other times the idea of peace goes racing out the door when life gets tough. Life is filled with daily challenges but peace is available to us, it is our choice. We cannot control life, but we can control our reactions to what is brought before us.


When we can see the light that exists in all beings – and that everyone one of us is here for a reason – then peace will have a chance.
